Key to Downline Action: Patience

One day I received a phone call from a downline member and they asked me a question - that I had answered for them many times before. But I answered like it was the first time I had ever given this downline member the answer. They heard it like it was the first time too. Wealth comes to those who are patient enough to train others and that specifically applies to your downline.

The Downline Plan

BUT, to correctly train your downline you have to train them on the RIGHT things and in the right SEQUENCE. Sequence of course is the order in which you train them on specific parts. Skipping parts of the training with your downline will affect your entire organization. You have to have a plan for yourself - but you also have to have a game plan for your downline.

Downline Training Basics

What do you train your downline to do? Start at #1. Hopefully you can immediately see that if YOU don’t or can’t do any of these 10 items - you will fail at training your downline to do them! So the FIRST person you must learn to have patience with is you.

Downline ‘Won’t Do’ = Downline ‘Can’t Do’.

Keep in mind that the people in your downline came into the business to change something about their life. So if your downline is not active I’d bet my own paycheck that it’s because there’s something they can’t do. Even if a downline member tells you “now” they just don’t want to do the business anymore.

Debug Your Downline or Lose it

The way you find out what a downline can’t do is hand them Pocket Tracker (send it to them if long distance) and start at item #1 and ensure they can and have written their goals. Then move to #2 and ensure your downline is Self Training. Then move to #3 and make sure your downline has people to promote to (warm market, leads, ads, etc.).
